zipstyke
A downloadable tool
Based on the work of Ted Nelson's ZigZag® Database for 'zippered lists' -- Following his words as closely as possible without addition or alteration...
From the groundwork laid by Andrew Pam, Tuomas J. Lukka, John Ohno, Roger Gregory (these previous implementations are free and open source),
comes an all-new PARC User Interface (PUI) inspired by the webdesigns of Don Hopkins (Sim City, pie menus, cellular automata); & utilizing the Notcurses library developed by Nick Black
Explore Hyperthogonal Space for the first time, the Co-Operating System that has remained vaporware for 60-some-odd-years is now realized in all its glory!
Zipstyke was primarily designed as a drop-in replacement for Relational Database! Maintain connection without redundant data! Here's a very simply illustration:
1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
---|---|---|---|
people | person | place | thing |
wears glasses | david | new hampshire | apple |
what | do any | of these things | mean |
in | relation | to one | another? |
^ Zipstyke solves all that by exploding what we've known as spreadsheets, files, and directories. Indeed, the first real, direct use-case is as a replacement for SQL as the datastore backend in GNUNet (https://docs.gnunet.org/latest/users/configuration.html#configuring-the-datastore)
The price is so high (not really in the software world) because I've been HOMELESS the entire time I've been writing this. 1k is tacked on for every year i've spent on the streets closely studying TN's words in public libraries... This comes from years of sacrifice to obtain occult knowledge, I've truly had to unlearn so much.
Following the political program as outlined by Jaron Lanier in works such as Who Owns the Future?
Indeed, rest assured, stated goal: once this project gets off the ground, it will create a middle class by rewarding valuable data added to the network through a system of microtransactions, the way the internet was intended to be by its first visionary! Pay me a living wage to develop this -> Get a real economy back.
The first test for Zipstyke is the backend for the upcoming social media site Cryspace
Under a special Transcopyright license called Hyperlicious which is contained within the VIM (Virtual Interactive Machine -- the running program)
